Raqs Dance


We are a dance class/ performance group who meet at the Abbey Theatre Nuneaton.


Although we enjoy the challenges of class work learning basic I.D.T.A. routines and moves. We also enjoy performing in local shows.



We do perform in our own school shows.


 

We also support local charities like  Nuneaton Carnival and Nuneaton mayors charity appeal

 

 - have performed in shows for:-

 

- Asda's Hinckley fundraising events for tickled pink  

  and  Children in Need.

 

- Coventry Magic Circle.

 

- Nuneaton Carnival royal Variety Shows

 

 

- choreographed &  performed  for Nuneaton Carnival in their fundraising video. 'Land of Make believe'  for 2007 and .'YMCA' for 2008

 

 

 

  - at Bedworth Civic Hall for a local charity senses and Recently have the pleaseure of performing along side Neville Staples from 'The Specials' for Nuneaton Mayor Don Navro for his Charity fundraiser.

Who is a full member of the I.D.T.A and has associate degree in Ballroom & freestyle


CClasses take place Abbey Theatre, Pool Bank Street, Nuneaton - Upsateirs in the Etone Lounge




Tuesday Nights


Freestyle - Ages 7-18 -Tuesdays 6-7p.m.


Ballroom / Latin - All ages Tuesdays 7-8pm


Freestyle - Beginners- Advanced Tuesdays 8-9pm

We welcome all ages and abilities

Classes are £1.50 per hour
